Love It ❤

The Convertible Brow Palette 2 by The BrowGal

convertible

I recently spoke about this brow palette in my May Boxing Charm Unboxing! This palette was definitely the stand out product for me from this month’s Boxy Charm. The powders are buttery soft and intensely pigmented! I have been loving the way my brows turn out using these powders. I use the darkest shade on the outer part of my brows, and the middle cool tone shade on the beginning of my brows. I am highly impressed with this product, and 10 out of 10 recommend it!

Dual Ended Brow Brush by The BrowGal

browgal

This dual ended brow brush also came in my May Boxy Charm. This brush is very soft! At first I was unsure that I would like it because it seemed too flimsy. However, once I started using it I fell in love with it. It honestly has become my favorite, and it is even safe to say that it has beat my Anastasia brush! Since I got it this month I have not used any other brow brush! Again, 10 out of 10 recommend!

Colour Care Sterling Silver Toning Shampoo by AG Hair

ag

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably have seen the progress of me going from red to dark brown to blonde hair. It has been quite a process, and it is still long from being done. After my last appointment I picked up this purple toning shampoo from AG Hair. I was drawn to this product because every purchase from this brand donates money to empower girls through the organization One Girl Can. I love when brands use a part of their proceeds for a charity! It is awesome to see the beauty community give back. This product works great for my hair! Any time I start going blonde my hair naturally wants to go brassy and yellow toned. This product has really helped my blonde stay ashy! Since my last appointment I would say my hair is almost a whole shade lighter/ashier since using this product! I will definitely be using this one more throughout my blonde process.

Studio Skin 24 Hour Wear Waterproof Concealer by Smashbox

smash

I have been on the search for a new concealer for a few months. I decided to finally try this one out because I love the foundation from the Studio Skin line. I have been absolutely loving it! I did pick up the shade light which is too yellow toned for me. To balance it out I have been mixing it with other concealers. I definitely want to pick up the shade light neutral which I think will be perfect for me. I definitely like the way this looks under the eyes, and it wears great throughout the day. I will continue to use this one for sure!

One Heck of a Blot Primer by Soap and Glory

blot

I have also been searching for a primer that would keep me matte, but not break me out. I can finally say that I found one that works! This primer keeps my oil at bay all day long which is exactly what I need. Plus I have used it all month, and there are no new break outs from it! My skin is sensitive so finding a primer that works can be very difficult. I have been loving this one though, and I will definitely keep using it.

Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mudd Masque with Pascalite Clay by PÜR

purmud

My skin has really been breaking out a lot lately! I honestly think it is because of all the changes in my diet that I have made. I think my body is going through an overall detox causing breakouts. This Dirty Girl mask has saved me! I have been using this at least twice a week, and I see major improvements in my skin. I am obsessed with this mask, and I will be putting up a full review soon!

The Widow by Fiona Barton

widow

The Widow was hands down my stand out book this month. As soon as I saw it was a recommended read from Stephen King I had to pick it up because I am a huge fan of him and his work. I was definitely not let down with Fiona’s book! My favorite part of this book is that you get to hear the story from multiple perspectives. This book is wrote where each chapter is from a different perspective such as the widow, the reporter, the detective, etc. It is really interesting to read how each person is dealing with the situation, and it really shows how one story can be seen so differently depending on who is telling it. The story is very captivating, and it will keep you turning pages until the very end. You will want to keep reading to find out how the story ends.

Clarifying Mud Mask by Shea Moisture

shea

My only disliked product this month is the Shea Moisture clarifying mud mask. I won’t go into too much detail on this one because I recently reviewed it. If you missed my full review check out Clarifying Mud Mask: Hit or Miss?. I love Shea Moisture, but this mask just didn’t do anything to help my skin.

That is all for this months love it or leave it. I hope you enjoyed hearing all about my stand out products for May. Thank you so much for reading my blog, your continued support means the world to me! I truly appreciate it! Have a great night beauties!

  1. I love that Soap and Glory primer! It definitely helps keep you matte all day. I love that you mention products that didn’t work out! I think those are just as important to mention as the great products. Great post!
